Plans for the build-up to the start of the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship season are well underway and Brentford will again be heading abroad for a training camp in July. Two pre-season friendlies have been announced – away to AFC Wimbledon on Friday 5 July and at home against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday 27 July – and more are planned. The Club can also confirm there will a training camp from 6 to 13 July.

The Bees will be heading to Austria, close to the German border, for the camp. The First Team players and staff will fly out on Saturday 6 July and will spend a week on site in the Austrian Alps. The intention is that there will be a game on Saturday 13 July in either Austria or Germany. The full details will be released as soon as they are confirmed, as will confirmation on whether fans can attend. Supporters are advised not to make arrangements to travel until more information is confirmed.

The 2019/20 Championship season will start on the weekend of Saturday 3 August. Fixtures will be released on Wednesday 20 June. Brentford are currently planning for a sixth season in the second tier and will released details on friendlies when final agreements have been reached. It is currently planned that there will be a friendly away from home on Saturday 20 July and these will be announced as soon as possible.
