Fundraisers representing Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will be tackling Ride London again this year, and there's a chance to join them.
Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and finishing on The Mall, Ride London is a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games Legacy. This year's event - 2019 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 - will take place on Sunday 4 August, the day after our 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship season gets underway.
Last year a dozen riders representing the Trust successfully took on the 100-mile course whether completing the whole event or just a section. There are still spaces for the event in August for anyone who wants to get on their bike and support the Trust.
Around 80,000 riders tackled 2018 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. The 100-mile route is on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved. The ride finishes shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on a similar route.
