Loan Round-Up: Last minute goal rescues point for Kolbeinn Finnsson and Fylkir

Drama in Iceland over the weekend

13 May 2019

Kolbeinn Finnsson's second game on loan with Fylkir proved to be a memorable one as the Fylkismenn netted a 93rd minute goal to rescue a point on the road at Reykjavík neighbours KR.

Kolbeinn started the game as Fylkir fell behind in the 33rd minute to a Tobias Bendix Thomsen strike. The 19-year-old was withdrawn with just over a quarter of an hour to play as Fylkir looked set to see their unbeaten start to the season come to an end. However, Valdimar Thor Ingimundarson struck three minutes into injury-time to ensure both sides left with a point.

The draw leaves Fylkir fourth in the Pepsi-deild karla after three matches ahead of Thursday's game against 10th placed Valur.
