Kolbeinn Finnsson's third game on loan with ĺþróttafélagið Fylkir ended in defeat on Thursday night. The 19-year-old Brentford B midfield player is spending the summer on loan with the Icelandic side, where he started his career. He was named as a substitute as they lost to Knattspyrnufélagið Valur 1-0. Kolbeinn came on early in the second half but Fylkir lost to the only goal of the game, scored in the fourth minute.
Kolbeinn has played in three of the four games played by Fylkir this season, starting one and coming off the bench in the other two. Fylkir are now sixth in the Pepsi-deild karla with five points from four games. They are in action again tonight, Monday 20 May, when they face Grindavík, who are just below them in the table.
