"We like taking challenges on; that's what makes you grow as a player"

Kamohelo Mokotjo gives his season review

18 May 2019

Kamohelo Mokotjo feels Brentford can look forward to a good year next year after a season of transition. The midfielder made 38 appearances last term, scoring four goals, helping The Bees to a fifth-straight top half finish in the second tier. Kamohelo admitted that the departure of Dean Smith and the tragic death of Robert Rowan affected the squad, but he feels the group is in a good place now heading into Thomas Frank's first pre-season in charge. Ahead of that, the 28-year-old has the Africa Cup of Nations to look forward to with South Africa and he predicts that Bafana Bafana can shock some people in Egypt.
