Julian Jeanvier has been named in Guinea's provisional 25 man squad for this summer's Africa Cup of Nations which begins in Egypt next month.
The 27-year-old, who arrived at Brentford just under a year ago, will join the likes of Liverpool's Naby Keita, Fulham's Ibrahima Cissé, and Amadou Diawara of Napoli when Paul Put's squad meets up in Conakry later this week.
The 1976 runners-up have made it out of the group in four of the last five editions for which they have qualified and will fancy their chances of keeping up their record this time round.
The National Elephants, ranked 68th in the world, begin their campaign with a game against Madagascar, 39 places below them in the FIFA rankings, on Saturday 22 June before taking one of the tournament favourites, Nigeria, four days later. Group minnows Burundi are their final opponents in the group stage on Sunday 30 June.
Julian is the second Bee to receive a call-up for the tournament after Kamohelo Mokotjo's was named in the South Africa squad earlier this month.
