Ezri Konsa has been named in Aidy Boothroyd's 23 man squad for this summer's European Under-21 Championships to be held in Italy and San Marino.
The defender, who already has a World Cup winner's medal to his name with England's Under-20s, is currently at St George's Park for a training camp before the squad heads out to Italy on 14 June.
England begin their campaign on Tuesday 18 June with a game against France at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi, Cesena, kick-off 8pm UK time, before returning to the same venue three days later for a game against Romania, kick-off 5.30pm. Croatia provide the final opposition for the 2017 semi-finalists at the Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle, San Marino on Monday 24 June, kick-off 8pm UK time.
The three group winners, plus the best runner-up qualify for the semi-finals, as well as earning a place at the 2020 Summer Olympics, with the final being held in Udine on Sunday 30 June.
Ezri was an almost ever-present at Griffin Park this season, making 47 appearances in all competitions following his summer move from Charlton Athletic. He also scored his first goal in Brentford colours during our final day victory over Preston North End.
The 21-year-old has earned six caps at England Under-21 level, two of those coming in qualification for this summer's Euros, to add to his five caps at Under-20 level.
