The 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship saw some monster trips for Bees fans but with Fulham, Charlton Athletic, and Luton Town replacing the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Rotherham United, and Sheffield United, next season's second tier has an all-together more local feel.

In total, the round-trip from Griffin Park to all 23 of our Championship opponents next season comes in at 6,136 miles, down from 6,950.

Of the six new sides in the division for 2019/20, only Huddersfield Town and Barnsley see more than a 300-mile round trip while Cardiff City comes in at shade under 290 miles. By contrast, Luton Town (70 miles), Charlton Athletic (38 miles), and Fulham (11 miles) are all in our six shortest trips of the campaign, alongside Queens Park Rangers, Millwall, and Reading.

Whereas there were seven round-trips of 400 miles or more last term, that number has been cut to six for the upcoming season following Bolton's relegation.

With the full line-up for next season’s Championship confirmed the next date in the diary is Thursday 20 June which is when we will find out the fixtures for the new season.
