In February, Physio Liam Horgan took us through his routine when it comes to looking after the players in the B squad. We put this together in one of this season's Coaching 101 pieces on YouTube.
Then Brentford needed to get beyond two Semi-Finals in the domestic cup competitions.
The squad made it into the Final of the London Senior Cup after beating Dulwich Hamlet 1-0 at Champion Hill.
Jan Zamburek scored the only goal of the game in the second half after new Bee Fredrik Hammar had one bounce off the line in the early stages. Michael Onovwigun hit the post in the first half in what turned out to be the best chance for the home side.
A friendly with Huddersfield then came to a similar conclusion. Brentford B had Nikolaj Kirk to thank for a winning goal in the second half of their 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town Under-19s at Jersey Road. Kirk was riding high having just come off making his First Team debut in the Emirates FA Cup defeat to Swansea City.
Lars Friis's squad were pushed all the way by The Terriers, lead by former Stoke, Sunderland and Town player Dean Whitehead. The home side called on goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe with Tom Field once again getting minutes in the back four.
The Bees then defeated Barnet 5-0 at The Hive to book their place in the Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup Final. They would face Harrow Borough at Griffin Park in the Final on 16 April 2019.
Marcus Forss and Kolbeinn Finnsson both scored twice, Jaakko Oksanen adding the fifth with a goal drilled in with his left foot.
