Brentford B end their season in Manchester this morning when they face City's Elite Development Squad at the Etihad Campus.

The B squad travelled north yesterday, Friday 10 May, in preparation for the fixture. Reece Cole and Canice Carroll are both with the team, following the end of their loan spells with Macclesfield and Swindon respectively.

This will be the ninth time Brentford B have played a side from Man City's youth system. When visiting M11, The Bees have won once, and lost on four occasions. The last meeting between the sides in Manchester ended 4-3 to the hosts. Marcus Forss netted twice and Bradley scored a penalty as Brentford fought back after being 2-0 down at half-time.

After eight fixtures, the aggregate score so far sees Man City in the lead 20 goals to 19. The highest scoring games came in the 2017/18 season, when Brentford won 5-2 and City then hit back with a 4-3 win.

New B Team fullback Nick Tsaroulla could be set to make his debut for The Bees after his signature was confirmed yesterday. Matej Majka and Theo Archibald have missed the trip, as has Jarvis Edobor through injury.

The game is behind closed doors, but you can follow the match on Twitter and highlights will be on YouTube afterwards.
