Brentford B Team goalkeeper Patrik Gunnarsson and midfielder/forward Kolbeinn Finnsson have both been included in Iceland's Under-21 squad for two upcoming friendly matches.

On Friday 22 March the squad face Czech Republic in Murcia, Spain. Then they are off to Qatar for a match with the country's Under-21 side.

It's the first time a squad has been named by new Head Coach Arnar Vidarsson and assistant, former Chelsea striker, Eidur Gudjohnsen.

The other goalkeeper in the squad is 19-year-old Elias Rafn Olafsson of Brentford's sister Club FC Midtjylland. The Brentford pair are also the only two members of the team from an English side.

Finnsson has represented his nation at this level in the past, and also has two senior caps that he earned earlier this season. It's Gunnarsson's first call-up to the Under-21 side. He made his First Team debut earlier this month in a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough. Both players have experienced Under-17 and Under-19 football with Iceland previously.
