The ‘Young Raiders’ begin by facing the hosts, Spain, next Monday before taking on Norway four days later. They finish with a game against Bulgaria on Monday 25 March.

The camp is in preparation for next season’s Under-21 European Championship qualifiers which have pitted The Finns against Denmark, Romania, Ukraine, Northern Ireland and Malta.

Both Jaakko and Marcus are hugely experienced at Youth Level for their nation. Jaakko, who has been named on the bench four times in the Sky Bet Championship this term, has earned 26 caps between Under-16 and Under-19 level, and picked up Finland’s Most Promising Young Player award at December’s annual Captain’s Ball. This is his first inclusion at Under-21 level.

Marcus, who has made five First Team appearances this term, scoring his maiden professional goal against Southend United in August, has earned 17 caps in total at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, scoring nine goals, three of which have come in his last four international outings.
