Fans turning up on their bicycles is not completely unheard of at Brentford, but not many will come from hundreds of miles away. Brentford fan Steve Tidy is due to Griffin Park tomorrow to watch The Bees' Sky Bet Championship game against West Bromwich Albion, having cycled from Dundee. Steve is cycling from London to Paris in the summer to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society and has spent the past two weeks riding from Scotland to West London as a warm-up!

Steve’s efforts on this ride – which saw him leave from Dundee United’s Tannadice ground and stop off in Middlesbrough and Sheffield for Brentford’s games this week before arriving at Griffin Park – have helped him raised more than £2,500 for the charity. He set off from Dundee two weeks ago and it on course to arrive in West London tomorrow. To sponsor Steve visit his fund-raising page here.
