23 March 2019

To mark the start of the EFL Community Day of Action, Brentford B Team Assistant Coach Allan Steele joined Strength and Conditioning Coach Tom Perryman for a fitness session that aims to improve men’s fitness and live healthier lifestyles. The men were put through their paces as they took part in a series of challenging exercises to improve their fitness and lose weight by Brentford’s FC’s football and fitness experts. The initiative was one of a number of events that highlight Brentford FC Community Sports Trust's important work in west London. The celebration of community work took place across the country on Tuesday, 19 March, the EFL Community Day of Action.

Speaking after the event, Allan explained what the session had been about and talked about the work done by Brentford B players in the community. He also reflected on the impending departure of B Team Head Coach Lars Friis and the season to come.
