There were mixed results for two Brentford B players involved in Under-21 international action earlier this week. Jaakko Oksanen played the majority of the match as Finland Under-21 beat Sweden on Tuesday and at the same time Cole Dasilva was played for Wales Under-21 in Albania. That match went less well for the Brentford man.
The game in Albania was the second for Wales in three days. They lost 2-1 on Sunday and found themselves 2-0 down inside 15 minutes in the second game. That became 3-0 after half time and a late goal from Aaron Lewis was mere consolation. Cole earned his second Under-21 cap for Wales in the loss, playing the first half.
Things went slightly better for Jaakko in Finland, albeit they did it the hard way. After taking an early lead against Sweden, Finland were legged back and trailed 2-1 with five minutes to go. But two late goals earned them a win to end their season. Jaakko played 84 minutes for his country, his fourth cap at Under-21 level and 31st game for Finland overall.
