Brentford's Finnish midfield player Jaakko Oksanen has been called up to represent his country. The B Team youngster, who made his Sky Bet Championship debut at the end of the season, has been named in Finland's Under-21 squad for friendlies this month.
The first takes place in Slovakia against North Macedonia on Thursday 6 June, with the second game on home soil against Sweden on Tuesday 11 June.
Both games are in preparation for the upcoming European U21 Qualification process, where Finland meet Ukraine, Northern Ireland, Malta, Denmark and Romania. The first round of games get underway in September, continuing into October and November 2019.
