Brentford B midfield player Jan Žambůrek has been called up for another international squad. Jan was part of the Czech Republic Under-18 squad that finished sixth in the Slovakia Cup last month. They now have two games against Bosnia and Herzegovina this week and Jan is again in the squad.
Jan played in three of the four games in the Slovakia Cup, including a fine win over Spain. Those were his 11th, 12th and 13th caps at Under-18 level for his country. He has played 36 matches in total for Czech Republic at youth level.
The games against Bosnia and Herzegovina will be played tomorrow, Tuesday 4 June, and on Thursday, 6 June. Jan became the first player born after 2000 to make a professional appearance for The Bees when he came on against Hull City in February.
