The following is a list of the results from Brentford B's 2017/18 campaign.

Pre-Season Matches (July - August)

Brentford B 4-0 ETO Gyor
The first match on a tour of Hungary ends in a resounding win for Kevin O'Connor's side. Ali Coote scores a brace, Zain Westbrooke and Ilias Chatzitheodoridis add the other two. Match Report

Brentford B 2-1 MSK Zilina
The second win of the season is a hard-fought contest against Slovak opposition. Ali Coote scores his third in two games, Theo Archibald also gets himself on the scoresheet. Match Report

Benfica B 0-6 Brentford B
Brentford shock the Portuguese Second Division side with a 6-0 thrashing. Marcus Forss nets four times, including a hat-trick inside 23 minutes. Zain Westbrooke scores from distance after half an hour and things are finished off by Jan Novak. Match Report

Chelsea XI 1-2 Brentford B
The Blues took an early lead from the penalty spot, but then Ali Coote continued his fine scoring record with the equaliser at Cobham. That was followed by a late winner from Justin Shaibu. Match Report

Dulwich Hamlet 0-1 Brentford B
Reece Cole scored the only goal of the game after 37 minutes as he captained the squad to victory in front of a crowd at Champion Hill. Match Report

Reece Cole and Theo Archibald score in the final pre-season game at Carden Park. Match Report

Regular Season Matches (August - December)



Everton U23 3-4 Brentford B
Torrential rain at Finch Farm can't stop The Bees picking up a sixth consecutive win. Theo Archibald, Zain Westbrooke, Marcus Forss and Herson Alves all score in the first regular season fixture of 17/18. Match Report

Brentford B 2-0 AFC Bournemouth U23
Two strong sides face off at Jersey Road, with Brentford winning it thanks to goals from Herson Alves and Justin Shaibu. Match Report


Brentford B 0-3 QPR U23
The Bees suffer a heavy defeat, their first loss of the season, in their first West London derby of the campaign. A team including First Team players Luke Daniels and Sergi Canos can't get anything from under the lights of Griffin Park. Match Report

Brentford B 2-1 Legia Warsaw XI
The first game on tour in Germany ends in a Brentford win as they come from behind to win their ninth in ten games. Joe Hardy and Marcus Forss score to oveturn the early opener. Match Report

Hertha Berlin II 4-3 Brentford B
In the shadow of the Berlin Olympic Stadium, Brentford lost 4-3 after a superb game to round off their German tour. Joe Hardy had scored a brace in the opening 20 minutes, which was cancelled out by Fabio Mirbach and Tahsin Cakmak. Cakmak and Sinan Kurt then scored to make it 4-2, Marcus Forss getting one back for The Bees before the end. Match Report

Brentford B 1-4 Luton Town XI
Bradley Clayton scored the only goal, his first of the season, as a strong Luton XI cruised to victory at Jersey Road. Match Report


Brentford B 2-5 Rangers XI
A Rangers side that includes Kenny Millar smashes five past Brentford at Jersey Road. Ryan Hardie nets a hat-trick for the visitors, whole Bradley Clayton and Theo Archibald get the goals for Brentford. Match Report 

Brentford B 0-0 Exeter City XI
The first goalless draw of the season comes at Jersey Road, despite appearances from Josh McEachran, Lewis Macleod and John Egan. Match Report

Man City U23 2-5 Brentford B
The Etihad Campus played host to this defeat for The Bees. Herson Alves and Joe Hardy scored in the first half but couldn't stop a strong comeback in the second 45. Match Report

Atalanta U21 2-2 Brentford B
The start of the team's tour of Italy 2017 ended in a draw at Atalanta's training ground in Bergomo. The goals came from Raphael Assibey-Mensah and Joe Hardy either side of half-time. Match Report

AC Milan U19 3-4 Brentford B
Brentford score quickly through Jan Novak, Theo Archibald and Bradley Clayton. Then Milan mount an impressive comeback, only to see Archibald score a fourth and grab the win for The Bees. Match Report

Inter Milan U19 1-3 Brentford B
Sergi Canos, flown over from England, joins forces with the squad and scores in their final win of the Italy tour. Justin Shaibu and Theo Archibald net the other goals just a few miles from the San Siro. Match Report


Reading U23 1-3 Brentford B
The Bees fall behind early doors but secure a comeback victory thanks to Lewis Macleod, Herson Alves and Raphael Assibey-Mensah. Match Report

Swansea City U23 6-2 Brentford B
An away fixture to Wales sees a ruthless Swansea side finish off Brentford B with six goals. Marcus Forss and a trialist scored for Kevin O'Connor's side. Match Report

Brentford B 0-3 AFC Bournemouth XI
A strong Cherries side demolish Brentford at Jersey Road. Conor Mahoney, Mikael Ndjoli and Sam Sherring score for the visitors. Match Report

Huddersfield Town U23 2-0 Brentford B
The Terriers complete a Premier League triple over The Bees as they lose their third in a row to top flight opposition. Dominic Tear scores both at Canalside in the North. Match Report


Barnet U23 2-3 Brentford B
Brentford winger Alan Judge makes his return to football after missing a year and half out with a broken leg. He scores a penalty in the first 10 minutes, with Marcus Forss adding two either side of the interval. Match Report

Brentford B 2-1 Wolves U23
Joe Hardy and Herson Alves score close to half-time as The Bees defeat Wolves at Jersey Road. Match Report

Brentford B 2-2 Man City U23
Despite goals from Marcus Forss and Theo Archibald, City score two late stunners to walk away with a draw in the rain of West London. Match Report

Regular Season Matches (January - May)



Brentford B 3-3 Exeter City U23
The first game of 2018 is a classic at Jersey Road. David Titov sees a goal cancelled out by Matt Jay, then Zain Westbrooke does the same to Ryan Loft. Robbie Sampson might have won it for The Grecians but for a late goal from Herson Alves. Match Report

Brentford B 9-1 Reading U23
The biggest victory recorded by Brentford B sees them put nine past The Royals at home. A team packed full of First Team players sees goals for Alan Judge, Emiliano Marcondes, Tom Field and Lewis Macleod. Reece Cole and Zain Westbrooke add goals towards the end. Match Report

Reading U23 3-2 Brentford B
The Royals exact revenge for their last defeat, securing a narrow win in torrential conditions at Hogwood Park. Bradley Clayton and Theo Archibald score for The Bees. Match Report


Dundalk 2-1 Brentford B
The first of two fixtures in Ireland is won by the home side in front of a lively crowd. Bradley Clayton scores the only Bees goal but Dundalk mount a comeback in the second half. Match Report

Shamrock Rovers 1-2 Brentford B
Rovers take a first-half lead in Tallaght but late goals see Brentford to victory near Dublin. Theo Archibald scores from distance before Jarvis Edobor nods home the winner in the 87th minute. Match Report

Brentford B 4-0 Swansea City U23
The Bees take a four-goal lead against The Swans before snow forces the referee to abandon the match just after the start of the second half. Zain Westbrooke, Marcus Forss, Ali Coote and Jarvis Edobor had scored in the first 45. Match Report


Brentford B 5-4 Barnet U23
The home side come out on top after a close game. Theo Archibald, Alan Judge, Marcus Forss, Reece Cole and Ali Coote all got on the scoresheet of a game that saw seven goals in the second half. Match Report

Rangers XI 0-3 Brentford B
A tough away trip to Rangers is won by a spiritied performance from The Bees. Marcus Forss, Reece Cole and Bradley Clayton put The Gers (inlcuding Lee Hodson and Graham Dorrans) to the sword. Match Report

Brentford B 3-1 Man United U23
Brentford continue their winning run with a 3-1 win over Manchester United. An early own goal from Jaakko Oksanen is levelled out by Ali Coote. Marcus Forss and Reece Cole then score in the second half to make it four wins in four. Match Report

Brentford B 3-0 Chelsea U23
The Bees go 100% in March with four wins from four. Chiedozie Ogbene scores his first B Team goal, then Alan Judge and Reece Cole see things off with a goal each. Match Report


Brentford B 4-0 Shanghai SIPG
Chinese opponents are beaten at Jersey Road thanks to goals from Ali Coote and Theo Archibald. Chiedozie Ogbene nets a brace in the final quarter of an hour. Match Report

Brentford B 4-0 Anderlecht U21
Griffin Park plays host to a convincing win for The Bees. Bradley Clayton scores twice before Reece Cole gets the third. Clayton then gives up the chance for a hat-trick from the penalty spot by giving Nikolaj Kirk his first goal of the season. Match Report

SC Braga B 1-0 Brentford B
A tour of Portugal begins with a scorching defeat to SC Braga. Bruno Wilson scores the only goal of the game as Theo Archibald is unlucky to hit the post in the second half. Match Report

FC Porto U19 2-3 Brentford B
Brentford win a fierce encounter with Porto at neutral venue Estadio de Pedroso. Marcus Forss scores after only two minutes, with Reece Cole and Theo Archibald adding goals before half-time. Vasco Paciencia and Fabio Vieira score for Porto but can't get that vital third beyond Jared Thompson. Match Report


Man City U23 4-3 Brentford B
Kevin O'Connor's side lose a narrow game at the Etihad Campus. Marcus Forss netted twice, Bradley Clayton got the third and then The Bees hit the crossbar late on. It wasn't enough to topple the home side, who scored four inside 60 minutes. Match Report

Brentford B 3-2 Man City U23
The final game of the season sees Brentford come from behind twice to win at Griffin Park. Herson Alves levelled a strike by Ian Carlo Poveda, then another of his was cancelled by Ali Coote. Marcus Forss then blasted home a winner in the dying moments to sign off the campaign with a win. Match Report
