Brentford fans attending the first pre-season friendly of the 2019/20 season build-up will be able to pay on the turnstiles. The Bees will face AFC Wimbledon next Friday, 5 July, in their opening friendly ahead of the new season. The game will kick-off at 7.45pm at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
Under former Brentford manager Wally Downes, The Dons put together a remarkable run of form to preserve their Sky Bet League One status on the final day of the season. Marooned at one stage ten points from safety, a run of just one loss in 12 games ensured a fourth successive season in the third tier. It’s just under two years since we last met The Dons in South London; Romaine Sawyers, Ollie Watkins, and Justin Shaibu getting the goals in a 3-1 EFL Cup First Round victory in August 2017.
Brentford have been allocated 944 unreserved seats within the John Green Stand for the game next Friday.
Admission prices are as follows:
Adult £15
Concession (Over-65 and student with valid ID) £10
Under-18 £4
Cash-only turnstiles will be open at 6.30pm.
