Kolbeinn Finnsson and ĺþróttafélagið Fylkir were held to a draw in their latest game last night. Kolbeinn is on loan at the Icelandic side, where he started his career, and played the full 90 minutes against Knattspyrnufélagið Víkingur – better known as Vikingur Reykjavik - in their 12th league game of the campaign. Fylkir went ahead early on but were pegged back before half time and the game finished all square. Even a late sending off for Vikingur couldn’t help Fylkir get over the line.
Kolbeinn will be with Fylkir until the end of August. The Brentford B midfield player helped them reach the Icelandic Cup Quarter-Final, where they lost to Breiðablik, during the summer loan spell. He has played 13 games for them in all competitions, scoring once. Fylkir are next in action on Sunday when they face ÍBV, who are currently bottom of the table. Fylkir are seventh having won four, drawn four and lost four this term.
