Brentford B winger Kolbeinn Finnsson has extended his stay with Icelandic top flight club Fylkir for a further month.
The 19-year-old initially joined the Pepsi Max deild side in May, making seven starts in the Icelandic top division, plus a further two substitute appearances, during his initial spell. The Iceland international netted his first professional goal last month against FH Hafnarfjördur and also had three league assists to his name during his time in Reykjavík. He also played two games as Fylkir reached the Quarter-Final of the Icelandic Cup.
Kolbeinn's extension meant he was available for a further four matches which began yesterday as the Fylkismenn were beaten 2-0 away at ÍA Akranes. The Brentford B midfield player completed the 90 minutes in the loss. That defeat leaves the Reykjavik club in sixth approaching the mid-point of the season.
