Brentford FC is looking for a Business Communications Manager to work in a role that is part of the communications department but sits across the administrative side of the Club. The Business Communications Manager will have primary responsibility for non-football communication. This will include our new stadium development project, our diversity and inclusion work, commercial communication and support of the promotions and campaigns team. The successful candidate will also lead on internal communication.
The Club is currently in the process of building a new stadium and needs someone to work closely with the stadium project team with a communications outlook in order to share news from the ongoing development to supporters and other stakeholders. There will also be a need to drive media coverage of the development. Communication of the Club’s commercial partnerships, campaigns and promotions will also be an aspect of the job.
The role will suit someone with experience of working in communications or in the media. Experience of working in sport, particularly football, would be an advantage but applications from other candidates are encouraged from high-quality individuals. This role will have little interaction with the playing and coaching staff and knowledge of business and trade press is of more advantage is of more benefit than football media contacts.
