The first match of pre-season saw the young Bees fall to defeat to the non-league side with a trialist and Kolbeinn Finnsson netting the goals for Brentford. Match Report

Watford U23 4 Brentford B 1- Saturday, 14 July 2018

The Bees fell to defeat away from home to Watford with Nikolaj Kirk netting for Brentford in the 62nd minute as they fell to defeat on the road. Match Report 

Maidstone United 3 Brentford B 2- Tuesday, 17 July 2018

The young Bees were narrowly beaten away from home despite two goals from Ali Coote and a Brentford trialist. Jamar Loza got the all-important goal for the hosts in the 89th minute. Match Report

West Brom U23 1 Brentford B 0- Tuesday, 24 July 2018

A trip to the Midlands saw The Bees narrowly beaten by a West Brom side captained by experienced midfielder Gareth Barry. Match Report

A narrow defeat for Brentford saw Jarvis Edobor net the only goal for the Bees at Jersey Road. Match Report

Luton Town U23 4 Brentford B 0- Monday, 6 August 2018

A heavy defeat for the young Bees saw them concede four goals without reply against a strong Luton side with Jake Jervis netting a hat-trick, whilst Aaron Jarvis added another. Match Report

Brentford B 2 AFC Bournemouth U23 1- Tuesday, 21 August 2018

A deserved win for Brentford B saw Marcus Forss score and turn provider at Griffin Park against a Bournemouth side which boasted the likes of Tyrone Mings and Jefferson Lerma. Match Report

AFC Bournemouth U23 0 Brentford B 3- Friday, August 2018

Once again Brentford would take on The Cherries, this time at their stadium, and it would be a 3-0 win with goals from Ali Coote, Joe Hardy, and an own goal from Ryan Glover for the hosts. Match Report.

Brentford B 1 Huddersfield Town U23 3- Wednesday, 12 September 2018

The Bees fell to defeat against Huddersfield at Jersey Road with Reece Cole’s early goal cancelled out by three Huddersfield strikes. Match Report

Reading U23 3 Brentford B 2- Tuesday, 18 September 2018

Brentford surrendered a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at Reading. The Bees’ goals came from Joe Hardy before Reece Cole scored on the half-hour mark. Reading hit back with three second half goals to take the win. Match Report

Joe Hardy netted in the 1-0 win at GC Campus to claim the win in a narrow game. Match Report

Grasshopper Zurich U21s 3 Brentford B 1- Wednesday, 26 September 2018

The second game of the day saw Brentford fall to defeat, despite Joe hardy getting on the scoresheet again. Match Report

Grasshopper Zurich U21s 0 Brentford B 2- Friday, 28 September

Two days later Brentford managed to get the win with goals from Canice Carroll and Joe Hardy to round off the stay in Switzerland. Match Report

Joe Hardy kept up his great scoring form with a brace against the fellow West London side with Kolbeinn Finnsson grabbing the other goal to help the side to victory. Match Report

The match at Griffin Park saw Rico Henry and Josh Dasilva feature for the side with the latter grabbing the all-important strike to seal the win. Match Report

Cup action saw Brentford B race to victory with a double from Joe Hardy, as well as goals from Luka Racic and David Titov. Match Report 

NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER

Rangers XI 3 Brentford B 2- Sunday, 4 November 2018

A narrow defeat at Ibrox saw Brentford B actually go ahead through Jan Zamburek, before two Stephen Kelly goals put the Scottish side ahead. The Brentford trialist found the net nine minutes from time but Dapo Mebude won it for the home side in the 90th minute. Match Report

Goals from Ali Coote and David Titov weren’t enough as Brentford B were held by Huddersfield. Match Report

London Senior Cup action saw Brentford B overcome Met Police with goals from Jonny Mitchell, David Titov and Kolbeinn Finnsson. Match Report

The Bees progressed to the semi-final of the Middlesex Cup with goals from Joe Hardy and Theo Archibald. Match Report

Bayern Munich 2 Brentford B 5- Saturday, 12 January 2019
Snowy Munich played host to one of the more eye-catching results of the campaign with Brentford pulling off a 5-2 win over Bayern Munich’s youngsters. The goals came from Cole Dasilva, Joe Hardy (2), Nikolaj Kirk and Reece Cole. Match Report

Wingate & Finchley 2 Brentford B 3- Tuesday, 15 January 2019

A Quarter-Final tie with Wingate & Finchley in the London Senior Cup saw Brentford come out on top in extra-time with a brace from Joe Hardy and one goal from Marcus Forss in a match which went all the way to extra-time. Match Report

A trip to Portugal would follow, and with that one of the toughest tests of the seasons as they came up against Slavia Prague with the experienced Czech side coming out on top with a 4-0 win. Match Report

The second fixture in Portugal would see Brentford B take on AGF Aarhus with Marcus Forss netting the only Brentford goal on the day. Match Report

Brentford B 0 Borussia Dortmund II 1- Saturday, 2 February 2019

An eye-catching spectacle in Portugal would then see the young Bees play their third and final match of the trip to Portugal with a narrow defeat to Borussia Dortmund II. An entertaining match was won by the Germans side when they broke late on to snatch the win after a positive Brentford display. Match Report

Ireland would be next on the agenda when Brentford took on Shamrock Rovers in what was a 2-0 loss for the young Bees in South Dublin. Match Report

Brentford hosted New York City Under-19s at Jersey Road and picked up a 2-1 win over the American side. Match Report

Ipswich Town U23 1 Brentford B 3- Wednesday, 13 March 2019

A trip to Ipswich would follow as the young Bees impressed with a 3-1 win as Gustav Mogensen got his first goal for the club, whilst Joe Hardy and Ali Coote also found the net. Match Report

Brentford B 0 Notre Dame Men’s Soccer 1- Saturday. 16 March 2019

Notre Dame Men’s Soccer would travel to Jersey Road with the university side coming out on top in a 1-0 win. The Indian-based side scored in the first half in stormy conditions. Match Report

OGC Nice Reserves 2 Brentford B 0- Tuesday, 2 April 2019

A trip to the Mediterranean coast would follow for Brentford B, and they first came up against Nice Reserves but fell to a 2-0 loss. Match Report

The London Senior Cup would end in tough defeat for Brentford B in Finchley as they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Welling United. Match Report

Brentford B 4 Harrow Borough 0- Tuesday, 16 April 2019

Just a week later Brentford B would be in final action again when they hosted Harrow Borough at Griffin Park and ran out 4-0 winners with goals from Joe Hardy (2), Fredrik Hammar and Gustav Mogensen as they lifted the Middlesex Senior Cup. Match Report

Griffin Park played host to Brentford v Manchester City Under-18s in what was a 2-2 draw, with Cole Dasilva and Jan Zamburek getting Brentford’s goals. Match Report

Man City 3 Brentford B 1- Saturday, 11 May 2019

The side ended their 2018/19 campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City’s Elite Development squad as they headed north in May. Cole Dasilva scored for Brentford but ultimately it wasn’t enough as the season ended with a loss. Match Report
