Brentford B are about to be hunted down by Special Forces across 24km of mountainous terrain in South Wales, getting only a 15-minute head start.
Today, Wednesday 10 July, the second squad are taking part in 'The SF Experience' in Brecon Beacons National Park.
Below, B Team Strength & Conditioning Coach James Purdue talks us through the challenge and what he expects from the day.
The overall experience, which involves different disciplines within it, is described by the organisers online:
'Take yourself beyond what you perceive to be your limits, dust off your bergen and join The S.F. Experience team as we put through a series of events designed to give you a realistic snapshot of what is undeniably the toughest military course in the world – UK Special Forces Selection.'
Coaching staff and squad members will be taking on a part of the course called 'The Hunted'. They will need to travel 12km cross-country, hitting specific location markers along the way, before turning around and returning back to base. All this while being chased down by ex-members of the armed forces.
The goal is to keep yourself ahead of 'The Wolves' until the very end. Follow their progress on social media today, including the dedicated B Team instagram @brentfordbteam.
