The search for a new Brentford FC Chief Executive is "progressing well", according to the Club's Chairman. Cliff Crown, Brentford FC Chairman, has written his programme notes for the match against Stoke City tomorrow and has included an update on the search for a new Chief Executive. He said an announcement on the position could be made by the end of the month.

Mark Devlin left the position as Brentford FC Chief Executive last month. Cliff Crown has stepped in as Chief Executive while the Club looks for a replacement for Mark and has been managing day-to-day operations in the short term. The search for a new Chief Executive is well underway.

Cliff said: "Our search for a new chief executive is progressing well. First round interviews have been completed and second round interviews are planned for later this month. The quality of the candidates has been excellent and I am delighted to report that there is real excitement about the opportunity that presents itself to those in contention. If all goes well, I’d hope to be able to make an announcement by the end of the month."

Read Cliff's full programme notes in Bees, Brentford's matchday programme, tomorrow. The programme also includes a list of those the Club is remembering that left us in 2018. It is on sale at Griffin Park tomorrow for £3.50.
