The 17-year-old striker completed a medical in West London today, Thursday 31 January, before signing a three-year deal. It also includes an optional one-year extension for the Club.

An impressively tall and imposing front man for a player of his age, Gustav is a member of the Denmark Under-18 national team, following in the footsteps of fellow B Team players Nikolaj Kirk, Mads Bech Sorensen and Luka Racic.

Gustav has earned 26 official youth caps, including two at Under-19 level, and scored seven goals, including one on his Under-19s debut against Cyprus earlier this month. He also played a key role in the Under-17 squad that finished runners-up in the 2017 Nordic Cup, scoring a hat-trick against the Faroe Islands in the group stage.

Alongside fellow new signing Fredrik Hammar, he will begin training with the B Team once they return from Portugal next week.

B Team Head Coach Lars Friis said: "The Club has been scouting Gustav for a long time and I'm pleased we've finally been able to reach a deal to bring him in. He's a big, strong centre forward with great technical ability and we are really looking forward to helping him take his talent to the next level.

"He's an exciting young player with a lot of potential, and I believe he has the right character for our environment. The B Team is about team work and individual progression, and I believe Gustav will be able to excel in both of these areas."
