This week has seen an update in the status of four of our Brentford B loan players either at the club or away from Griffin Park.
Jarvis Edobor has agreed an extension to his time at The Gallagher Stadium, adding a month to his loan deal with Maidstone United. The 19-year-old centre-back made his debut for United in their recent 1-0 victory over Boreham Wood, coming on at half-time to help the 10-man squad over the line. He then played on New Year's Day as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Dover Athletic at home. Jarvis' new deal now expires on 3 February.
Charlie Oliver has completed his half-season loan with The Bees and returned to Manchester City. The 21-year-old made 15 appearances for Brentford B, playing against teams including Grasshopper Zurich and Red Bull Salzburg whilst on tour in Europe, as well as Met Police FC and CB Hounslow in the domestic cup competitions.
Reece Cole has completed his short spell with Maidenhead United and is now back at Jersey Road training with Brentford again. The midfield maestro scored with his first touch in black and white stripes, netting against Ebbsfleet United in late November. In total the 20-year-old made six appearances for The Magpies; starting once and scoring once as well.
Finally, Theo Archibald will return to Brentford on Monday 7 January after five months with Forest Green Rovers. His final game for Rovers saw him sign off in style, scoring a last-gasp winner from distance against Northampton Town. Theo played 21 times during his time at The New Lawn, including games in the first two rounds of the FA Cup and three fixtures in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Today, B Team Head Coach Lars Friis said: "We thank Charlie for his work over the past few months, both on the field and as part of the dressing room. His conduct and work have been appreciated by all of us here and we wish him luck back in Manchester and for the future.
"We also wish Jarvis well on his next month at Maidstone, and are delighted that he continues to develop himself in a men's football environment. We're sure he will work hard to stay in contention for a starting position while he is away.
"We welcome back Theo and Reece to the team. They have both seen different challenges while away from Jersey Road. We've kept an eye on both of them and they now have plans in place for their development in the coming weeks and months."
