After back-to-back away games, we return to home soil in 48 hours time to face Tony Mowbray's Blackburn Rovers. Haven't got your ticket yet, here are five reasons to get down to Griffin Park this weekend.
Help support the Trust
Saturday’s game against Blackburn Rovers will see our first ever Community Takeover Day. From the press box to the pitch, ten children - from across eight of the Trust’s community projects - will go behind the scenes and join a number of matchday staff to learn the ropes. What’s more, £1 of every match ticket sold will be donated to the trust so they can continue their incredible work in our community.
Make it nine unbeaten
Our record over the past six weeks in all competitions reads: Played Eight, Won Four, Drawn Four. We still haven’t tasted defeat in 2019 and, adding another unbeaten game to that tally on Saturday, would make this our longest unbeaten run in more than five years and set us up nicely for a busy February.
We're on General Sale
Our last few home games have been on restricted sale meaning not all fans have been able to see the strides we are making under Thomas Frank. That isn’t the case this weekend with all supporters still able to buy for the game. Thomas described our performance last time out at home against Stoke City as “perfect” and hopefully this weekend will see more of the same.
Climbing the table
Our unbeaten run has seen us close the gap on the sides above us and now we can start to pick some of them off. Victory on Saturday could see us leapfrog both Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End, and bring a place in the top-half within touching distance.
Clash of in form sides
It’s not just us who are in good form heading into the weekend’s game, Blackburn Rovers make the trip south having won four of their last six league matches, to sit just below Thomas Frank’s side in the form table. Between the pair of us, we’ve scored 21 goals in our last 12 outings making Saturday’s clash a mouth-watering one.
Watch The Bees live at Griffin Park on Saturday. Tickets are still on general sale and start from £23 Adults and only £6 Juniors.
