Following the success of the inaugural event last season, Brentford Football Club held its Annual Club Partners Luncheon yesterday. The event was hosted by the University Of West London and held at the Pillars Restaurant, within the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism's award-winning facility.
The annual lunch is one of a number of exclusive events throughout the season which enables all partners to socialise away from football and come together to network in an informal environment. After guests were welcomed by James Parkinson, the Club's Commercial Director, they enjoyed food and drink presented by the University’s hospitality students. Guests were also given a behind the scenes insight into Brentford FC's philosophy and vision by co-Directors of Football Phil Giles and Rasmus Ankersen. Brentford Head Coach Thomas Frank was also in attendance to answer some topical questions from Peter Gilham.
The event was attended by more than 60 guests, representing a majority of the Club’s 28 commercial partners. They included Club Platinum Partner Utilita, who sponsored the luncheon, and Partner Simplexity Travel Management, who kindly donated a number of prizes for our table competition.
James Parkinson said: “Bringing the partners together several times a season is important to the Club. It is great to see so many in attendance, networking and supporting one another. We try to host at least four events per season, this is certainly one that the partners enjoy the most."
