In Sky Bet League One, Jack Bonham played 90 minutes as Bristol Rovers dropped back into the relegation zone following a 2-0 defeat at home to Sunderland. Luke O’Nein bundled home the opener after 25 minutes before Aiden McGeady curled home a second-half free-kick to secure the points for The Black Cats. Also in the third tier, Josh Clarke missed Burton Albion’s 1-0 defeat at home to Fleetwood due to injury.

The Sky Bet League Two action saw both Reece Cole and Canice Carroll play 90 minutes in draws which do little to aid eithers' cause. A late Lewis Young goal for Crawley Town denied Reece and Macclesfield Town a valuable away win while Swindon Town were held 1-1 at home by ten-man Grimsby Town. Macclesfield are now three points from safety with 12 games remaining while the gap between Swindon and the Play-Offs is up to seven points.

Elsewhere, Jarvis Edobor was an unused substitute as Maidstone United drew 1-1 with Stockport County in the Quarter-Final of the FA Trophy while there was no fixture for Justin Shaibu and Boreham Wood. Tuesday night’s action sees Jarvis and Maidstone welcome Stockport to The Gallagher Stadium in their FA Trophy replay.
