Cup Preview: Dulwich Hamlet vs Brentford B

Bees in Semi-Final tonight near Southwark

12 February 2019

Brentford B take on Dulwich Hamlet this evening in the Semi-Final of the London Senior Cup at Champion Hill.

The Opposition

Dulwich have got to this stage of the competition by beating Barking FC 3-1 in the Quarter-Final. That was following on from a Second Round win over Greenwich Borough, taking the game 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Unlike The Bees, who got a bye, Dulwich also played a First Round match against Glebe Premier. The Hamlet came out on top 4-2 in that opening match back in September.

Dulwich Hamlet are a National League South side, currently 17th of the 22 sides in the division. They are at the same level in English football as previous opponents in the cup, Wealdstone FC.

The only time these two teams have met in the past came in July 2017, The Bees winning a pre-season friendly 1-0 thanks to a first-half strike from Reece Cole.

Tickets are available for tonight's fixture on the gate only, and Brentford have agreed for the full gate receipt to go to the home side. They are priced as follows:

  • Concessions £3

Doors open at 6pm at Champion Hill, East Dulwich, Southwark.

Semi-Final

The other Semi-Final takes place at a date TBC but the two teams have been drawn as follows:

  • Harrow Borough vs Welling United
