After bouncing back from an opening game defeat to Sporting Duet with victory over Woking, The Bees were well placed to make it through to the knockout stages and so it proved with two convincing wins over the past two weekends.

First up to visit Bedfont Sports were New London Lionesses Development. Jasmine Williamson's brace plus strikes from Shannon Read and Kasey Clifford wrapping up a 4-0 win.

There was even better to come when Tower Hamlets Reserves made the trip to TW14 last Sunday. Less than 24 hours on from Thomas Frank's side putting seven past Luton Town, Tommy Ryan-Maynard, Will Blithing and Charlotte Tanner's charges matched their effort with a crushing win.

Shannon Read (pictured above) took her tally to 14 for the season with a hat-trick while Kasey Clifford (2), Harpreet Heer, and Rabia Azam completed the rout.

The results leave Brentford Development second in Group C ahead of their final group game against Wandsworth Borough this Sunday, kick-off 11am, with a point rubber stamping their progress through to the Quarter-Finals.

The First Team return to action this weekend with a home game against runaway leaders Walton Casuals in the Greater London Women's Football League Division One, kick-off 2.30pm.

A reminder that we have an open invitation for female players to join us at one of our training sessions held in Southall every Wednesday evening.
