Darren Bond handed Saturday's trip to West Bromwich Albion

Match Officials confirmed for visit to The Hawthorns

19 December 2019

Referee: Darren Bond

Assistant Referees: Jonathan Hunt and Philip Dermott

Fourth Official: Savvas Yianni

It's very much a case of Deja Vu with Darren Bond set to take charge of our trip to West Bromwich Albion for the second straight year.

That visit to The Hawthorns in December 2018 was his most-recent game in charge of us, taking his tally of Brentford games in total to 13. 12 of those 13 games have been on the road with The Bees winning three and drawing four.

His last two Brentford outings have ended 1-1 while our last win with him in charge came at The Madejski Stadium in January 2018, Lasse Vibe netting the only goal in a 1-0 victory.

So far this term, Bond has taken charge of 15 matches, showing 55 yellow cards and one red. His only previous West Bromwich Albion game this campaign saw him brandish 11 yellow cards as The Baggies were held to a 2-2 draw by Barnsley in October.
