The match will take place at Bedfont Sports Club with entry free for supporters to come and watch Neil MacFarlane’s young side in action.

The young Bees go into the match off the back of a 4-0 defeat at the hands of a Rangers XI on 10 December and they will be looking to get back to winning ways and replicate the results that have seen them beat the likes of Harrow Borough, AFC Wimbledon and Celtic Reserves in recent weeks.

Take a look at how the match unfolded when the two sides last met

They take on a Hibernian side who recently beat St Mirren Reserves 6-0 in the SPFL Reserve Cup on 3 December, and Neil MacFarlane is hopeful that Jaden Brissett will be fit enough for the match despite limping off with an ankle problem against Rangers.

Following the match with Rangers in Scotland, Neil explained: “Jaden was trying to tap the ball in at the back post and was caught on the ankle but hopefully he’ll recover in time for Hibs.

“We don’t want to be picking up injuries, but the boys put so much into the game and it was such an intense and physical game that you’ll get knocks.”

Brentford B actually met Hibernian Reserves back in early October when The Bees headed up to Scotland to take on both Aberdeen as well as play the match at Easter Road.

There will be an added motivation for the young Bees having slipped to narrow defeat when the sides last met in what was a 3-2 loss.

The home side were clinical and raced into a three-goal lead on the day before Brissett pulled a goal back with a penalty and Gustav Mogensen found the net in the second period. Despite putting the home side under pressure in the later stages they were unable to snatch an equaliser.
