Marcus took his tally to nine goals in 12 Sky Bet League One games with a brace for AFC Wimbledon during their 2-2 draw at Bolton Wanderers on Saturday. The 20-year-old looked to have secured a huge three points for The Dons with a goal late on in either half but Bolton netted a 95th minute equaliser to share the points at The University of Bolton Stadium. The draw leaves AFC three points above the drop zone with Doncaster Rovers making the trip to Kingston this weekend.

Reece Cole continued his blistering recent form with the late winner as Partick Thistle moved off the bottom of the Scottish Championship table thanks to a 2-1 victory at Queen of the South. Connor Murray gave the hosts an early lead which they held until 15 minutes from time. That was when Joe Cardle levelled with Reece lashing home the winner, his fourth goal in five matches, five minutes from time. Second-placed Inverness Caledonian Thistle make the trip to Firhill this weekend.

Justin Shaibu netted his third goal in five matches to help Boreham Wood make it seven unbeaten in the National League with a 2-0 win over Dover Athletic. The striker tapped home on the hour to double The Wood's advantage and leave them just a point off the Play-Off places.

Elswhere in the National League, Jayden Onen and Jaden Brissett weren't in the matchday squads as Bromley and Maidenhead United both won 2-1 on the road. FA Trophy action takes centre-stage this weekend with The Wood at Royston Town while Maidenhead host Hemel Hempstead Town and Bromley travel to Dorking Wanderers.

Having missed Saturday's 1-1 draw in Sky Bet League Two against Morecambe, Canice Carroll returned to the Carlisle United starting XI last night as The Cumbrians set up an FA Cup Third Round tie at Cardiff City with a 1-0 win over Forest Green Rovers at Brunton Park. The appearance was Canice's 11th for The Cumbrians who went through thanks to Aaron Hayden's 41st-minute strike. Carlisle are at home again on Saturday, this time against Grimsby Town in League Two.

On the continent, Emiliano Marcondes played 93 minutes, helping FC Midtjylland to a eighth-straight league win which keeps them seven points clear atop the Danish Superliga. Brondby were the latest to be seen off by FCM with Awer Mabil and Frank Onyeka on target in the 2-1 win at Brondby Stadium. FCM host third-placed AGF on Sunday for their final outing before the winter break.

Halil Dervişoğlu played 77 minutes as Sparta Rotterdam were held to a 0-0 draw by ten-man Heracles on Sunday. In a game of very few chances Joey Konings saw red for the visitors in the 90th minute. The point leaves Sparta 11th, seven points clear of the bottom three, ahead of a trip to fellow mid-table side FC Emmen on Sunday.
