Fundraisers representing Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will be tackling Ride London again today, Sunday 4 August. This year's event - 2019 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 - is underway. Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and finishing on The Mall, Ride London is a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games Legacy.

Around 80,000 riders tackled 2018 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. The 100-mile route is on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved. The ride finishes shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on a similar route.

Last year a dozen riders representing the Trust successfully took on the 100-mile course whether completing the whole event or just a section. More will take to their bikes today to raise money that will be spent on community projects in the local area. More on the ride will follow in the coming days.
