Brentford B defender David Titov has been called up for international duty. The 19-year-old has been named in the Latvia Under-21 squad for two competitive games at the start of next month. Latvia begin the qualification process for the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championships and have included the Brentford B man.
Latvia start their campaign with a game against Poland next Friday, 6 September. They then face Serbia away from home the following Tuesday, 10 September. These are the first games in Group Five of the qualification tournament. The group winners will qualify for the tournament along with the best second-placed team in nine groups. Eight other runners-up will take part in Play-Off games.
David has been part of the Latvia Under-21 group for the past six months. He played his first two games at that level in March. He has also represented his country at Under-19 level.
