Justin Shaibu came off the substitute’s bench to score a stoppage time equaliser for Boreham Wood last night. The Brentford striker is spending the season on loan at the Vanarama National League side, having spent a similar spell with the Hertfordshire outfit last season. Justin came on in the 68th minute in their second game of the season against Wrexham last night and made his mark.
Boreham Wood trailed 1-0 when Justin came on and they conceded again moments later. But Boreham Wood pulled a goal back inside the final ten minutes and then Justin struck. A cross was nodded down and fell for him to steer a shot in to the corner of the net to give his team a point.
Justin played as Boreham Wood were beaten at Torquay United on Saturday and made his second appearance of this loan spell last night. Boreham Wood face Chesterfield at home on Saturday, looking to add to their one point in two games so far this season.
