Referee: Jeremy Simpson
Assistant Referees: Nick Hopton and Michael George
Fourth Official: Gavin Ward
Lancashire-based referee Jeremy Simpson will take charge of Brentford's Good Friday London derby against Millwall.
He has been handed 11 previous Brentford assignments, starting with our dramatic 3-2 win at home to Portsmouth in April 2013. After officiating defeats against Middlesbrough and Derby County during the 2015/16 season, the drama returned the following campaign as he refereed our 1-1 draw at Aston Villa and our six-goal thriller at Griffin Park against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Last season, he took charge of our 2-1 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, December's 2-1 victory over Norwich City, and our Good Friday draw against Sheffield United, which saw Ryan Woods and Jamal Blackman dismissed.
His three previous assignments this term were our 1-1 draw at Leeds United, January's Emirates FA Cup victory over Oxford United and the win away to Middlesbrough last month. In the first two games our goals came courtesy of Neal Maupay penalties. Those games took his total record in Brentford games to four wins, four draws, and three defeats.
So far this season, Simpson has shown 144 yellow cards, and five reds, one of those to Luke Ayling during our visit to Elland Road, in 36 competitive fixtures.
Millwall 2018/19

73 yellow cards – 7th in Championship
1 red card – joint lowest in Championship
