Carabao Cup tie against Arsenal to be broadcast live internationally

Fixture at The Emirates chosen for overseas coverage

19 September 2018

Brentford fans around the globe will be able to watch our Carabao Cup Third Round tie against Arsenal live on TV.

Our trip to The Emirates Stadium next Wednesday, 26 September, kick-off 7.45pm, has been selected as the Pitch/ITN overseas broadcast and will be shown live across Europe, Asia, North America and throughout the world. To find out who will be showing the game in your territory click here and scroll down to Carabao Cup partners.

More than 8,500 Brentford fans will be making the trip to North London as The Bees take on The Gunners for the first time since the 1940's with a place in the Last 16 of the EFL Cup up for grabs.

Dean Smith's side beat Southend United and Cheltenham Town to reach the Third Round for the second year in succession while Arsenal were last season's runners-up, losing the final to Manchester City at Wembley in February.

Fans in the UK who can't make it to The Emirates will be able to join Mark Burridge and the iFollow Brentford team for live audio commentary from 7.15pm next Wednesday.
