Luka Racic and Mads Bech Sorensen have been called up to the Denmark Under-20 squad as Niels Frederiksen's takes his group to Spain for a training camp.
The Danes will also play two matches, both at the Marbella Sportscenter, during their stay. First up is a game against Russia on Wednesday 10 October, kick-off 4pm, before Sweden provide the opposition on Saturday 13 October, kick-off 4pm.
Both Mads and Luka have been capped extensively at younger age-groups but this is their first inclusion at Under-20 level.
Mads, who joined The Bees last August, has made 20 appearances for his nation at Under-18 and Under-19 level, many of them as captain, scoring one goal. The 19-year-old made his Brentford debut against Southend United in August's EFL Cup First Round tie and was promoted to Dean Smith's First-Team group last month.
Luka arrived at Griffin Park in the summer on a two-year contract from Danish giants FC Kobenhaven, having played 24 times for his nation at all levels between Under-16 and Under-19. He made his Brentford bow as a late substitute during our 1-0 friendly win over Wycombe Wanderers in July before starting against Shrewsbury Town the following Saturday.
Brentfordfc.com and our social media channels will have full coverage of both games in Spain, as well as all international action involving Brentford players over the coming fortnight.
