Jaakko Oksanen is off to Estonia this week as Finland's Under-19s compete in the opening round of European Championship qualification.
Kai Nyyssönen's side begin their campaign against Denmark at the Kadrioru Staadion, Tallinn, on Wednesday 10 October before facing Italy at the same venue three days later. They then finish their campaign with a game against the hosts at the Linnastaadion, Rakvere.
The top two in the group will then progress to the Elite Qualifying Round, which will be held next Spring, ahead of the summer's finals in Armenia.
As hosts, Finland made their Under-19 European Championships debut last summer, suffering a trio of narrow defeats to Italy, Norway, and Portugal in the group stages. Jaakko played in all three of their games on home soil, putting in a series of impressive performances.
In total, the 17-year-old has 13 caps to his name at Under-19 level and captained his nation in a pair of games against Greece earlier this month.
