We are mindful that we planned to have details of Ticket Access Pointspublished for Season Ticket Holders and Members well in advance of the first time that they would be needed and this hasn’t happened. While we’ve managed access to tickets for the QPR and WBA games using TAPs we still haven’t shown them in your online accounts – our apologies for the delay.
In past seasons the points haven’t been automatically updated in your accounts, we’ve done that manually just before we needed to use them. This was due to us wanting to recognise Season Ticket Holder attendance at home games.
We have been investigating a solution to achieve automatic updates of TAPs for Season Ticket Holders based on home game attendance. We’ve decided to remove this requirement from the project in the short term. For this season, points will be based on purchase alone. We may revisit this for next season.
We’re working very closely with SecuTix to get this task completed as a matter of urgency.
In addition, Members haven’t been able to upload their tickets to their Brentford Card. We’ve held off turning this feature on because we’re not happy with how other tickets purchased at the same time will beconfirmed when they aren’t for a Member and therefore don’t get loaded onto a card. We’re working on improvements to how this is communicated. We expect this to be up and running in the coming weeks.
Our new equivalent of the previous Ticket Exchange is in the testing process. While this function hasn’t been needed to date, we do understand that some fans like the ability to register their seat just in case we open the Exchange for sales.
By way of an update we are aiming to have the Ticket Exchange available during November. Please note that we are taking the opportunity to review how this is used, whether we continue to open up reselling from the exchange when we reach 90 per cent sales for a game or otherwise. We’ll communicate this decision at the time we release the new Ticket Exchange.
