Kolbeinn Finnsson has been selected in the Iceland Under-21 squad for a four-team tournament in China this week.
All the games will be played at the Wanzhou Sport Center in Chongqing with Mexico first up on Thursday, kick-off 7am UK time. Two days later, Iceland take on hosts, China, kick-off 11.35am UK time, before finishing up against Thailand on Monday 19 November, kick-off 7am UK time.
Iceland missed out on qualification for next summer's Under-21 European Championships in Italy and San Marino and this tournament represents the start of preparations for the 2021 edition which looks set to be held in Hungary and Slovenia.
19-year-old Kolbeinn received his maiden call-up to his nation's Under-21 group last month, having earned 32 caps at Under-16, Under-17, and Under-19 level, scoring five goals.
