Brentford defender John Egan has been named in Martin O'Neill's 26-man squad for games against France and USA in the coming weeks.
The Boys in Green will travel to Paris to take on Les Bleus on Monday 28 May before returning to Dublin for a game against USA on Saturday 2 June.
Didier Deschamps' side are one of the favourites for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Russia, which begins on 14 June, and will provide a stiff test for Ireland when they meet at the Stade De France in four days time, kick-off 8pm UK time.
After that game the team returns home for a game at The Aviva Stadium the following Saturday, kick-off 8pm. Their opponents, the USA will be absent from a World Cup for the first time since 1986 after they finished fifth in the Final Round of CONCACAF qualifying.
John has earned two caps for his nation since his move to TW8 in the summer of 2016 and also turned out for a Republic of Ireland XI last Sunday in a match against Celtic.
The 25-year-old's Bees teammate Alan Judge was also named in the provisional squad but did not make the final 26 man cut.
