Fundraisers representing Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will be tackling Ride London again this year, and there is still a chance to join them. Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and finishing on The Mall, Ride London is a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games Legacy. This year's event - 2018 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 - will take place on Sunday 29 July, just days before the start of the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship season.
Last year more than 30 riders representing the Trust successfully took on the 100-mile course whether completing the whole event or just a section. There are still spaces for the event in July for anyone who wants to get on their bike and support the Trust. The deadline for registrations is tomorrow, Friday 25 May.
There will be a total of 80,000 riders tackling 2018 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. The 100-mile route is on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved. The ride finishes shortly before 150 professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic on a similar route.
