Sitting among the thousands of Brentford fans cheering on The Bees at every home game, and plenty of away ones, are some supporters that have to rely on others to describe what is going on in front of them. Brentford FC has dozens of blind supporters who attend home games and sit all around Griffin Park, getting a live commentary from the Club's iFollow service. And while they may not be able to see every goal, tackle and save, the pictures painted by the words of the Club's lead commentator Mark Burridge and many others, means they never miss a kick.
The Brentford FC Blind Commentary Service is one of the oldest in the country and the Communications team from Bees United, the Brentford Supporters' Trust, wanted to find out a little more. They met the commentators and some of the blind fans and produced a video to show what a matchday is like.
