Betting Preview: Sheffield United

Leo Vegas Sport take a look at tomorrow's match markets

29 March 2018

The international break provided The Bees with a brief respite before the final push for this season’s play-offs. After a credible home draw against Middlesbrough, Brentford are Evens to beat Sheffield United tomorrow afternoon.

Dean Smith’s men are just eight points off sixth place and the elusive final play-off spot -  finding a batch of points over Easter weekend is eggsactly what the Bees need to keep the play-off dream alive! The Blades sit in ninth place, two places above Brenford, and will be looking to sharpen up their own bid for promotion. Chris Wilder’s men are on a run of three unbeaten games in which they have not conceded a single goal.

Solid as United are at the back however, Brentford have outscored them in the league this season and The Blades have netted only two goals in their last four league games! Brentford to win to nil on Friday is almost 3/1.

While United have struggled to hit the back of the net, we’re hoping Brentford can get back to goalscoring ways! Neal Maupay, who impressed in the recent outing against Boro, is 19/5 to score first this Friday, while Sergi Canos can be backed at 15/2 to open the scoring.

Leo’s Prediction: Brentford 1-0 Sheffield United.

Goalscorer: Neal Maupay at 5/4 to score anytime.

Outside Punt: Brentford to win to nil at 29/10.
