Stuart Attwell handed weekend trip to Millwall

Match Officials confirmed for the visit to The Den

8 March 2018

Referee: Stuart Attwell

Assistant Referees: Stephen Child and Derek Eaton

Fourth Official: Keith Stroud

Stuart Attwell made history in 2008 as he became the youngest referee in Premier League history, taking charge of Blackburn Rovers vs Hull City aged just 25. That completed a remarkable rise for Attwell who had only taken charge of his first EFL game 12 months previously.

The Bees are unbeaten in all seven games which Attwell has officiated, winning the last six. He most recently took charge of our 3-1 home win over Leeds United in November.

So far this season, he has shown 79 yellow cards and one red card in 24 games across league and cup.

Millwall 2017/18

466 fouls – 3rd in Championship

54 yellow cards – 19th in Championship

4 red cards – 3rd in Championship
