Ollie Watkins wins Fanscore Man of the Match award after Burton Albion victory

Winger picks up award after key role in last night's win

7 March 2018

Brentford attacker Ollie Watkins was the runaway winner of yesterday's fans' Man of the Match poll, in association with Fuller's.

Run on the Official Club App, Ollie's decisive contribution to last night's win over Burton Albion saw him pick up the award with more than 50 per cent of the vote. It was Ollie's low cross which Kyle McFadzean turned into his own net for the opener on the hour. The 22-year-old then made the game safe ten minutes from time with his 11th of the season. Florian Jozefzoon and Ryan Woods filled out the Fanscore top three behind the runaway winner.

Last month saw the launch of an all-new predictor game on the Official Brentford FC club app. The new predictor, which can be accessed from the club app, asks fans to pick the result from all Sky Bet Championship games played over the weekend with points on offer for correct scoreds.
